Mr.Accent Senior App is designed to help users improve their spoken English in closest accent to the one in use in North America (USA, Canada etc.) This App has k-12 levels of English and users can select the level of difficulty as they feel comfortable with. Selected lessons are comprised of simple to complex sentences based on level selected.
This App is ideally suited for students and general public who may want to be able to be well understood globally while learning to talk like Americans.
No matter what is your mother tongue, our App will help you learn English and with some focused attention, you will be talking like American in limited time.
Users can log on with Facebook, Google or locally create ID/Password. Once logged on, user can learn to read by ‘reading’ to the App, the shown text. The App compares the spoken text with acceptability criteria that evaluates against the North American general accent an if acceptable, then user is conveyed in audio or visual signals.
User is also provided the ability to type their own texts and/or words and practice as needed.
Users also have the ability to mark selected words as their favorites and practice them later on.
Users can ‘listen’ to the text in acceptable accent as many times as they like but may not be able to take hints when being tested unless teacher has allowed them for some reason, like practice sessions etc.
Internet connection (WiFi or data) is required for the App to function.
